Role Overview

 

Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! As Associate Director, EMEA Payroll Operations, you will be responsible for the delivery of EMEA managed payroll services to our Global clients, setting the strategic direction of the Payroll Operations team and working with the wider business to improve processes and enhance the value that the iiPay Operations team can bring to each of our clients’ organizations. The goals are accurate, on time, compliant payrolls, great customer experience and a streamlined, efficient process. You will manage a diverse team to achieve these goals.

This position will require adhoc visits to our global iiPay sites and offices, in addition to client visits globally.

 

Key objectives of the role

 

The Associate Director, EMEA Payroll Operations plays a vital role in ensuring sustained long-term partnerships are formed, and continually developed, between iiPay and each client; ensuring delivery beyond timely, accurate and compliant payroll service and identifying ways to enhance the customer experience through process improvement and value-add activities are fundamental to the role.

 

The successful candidate requires the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following:

  • Building a high-performance, client-focused team that will deliver on commitments whilst ensuring an excellent client
  • Strategic leadership of EMEA Payroll Operations teams, responsible for payrolls processed utilizing our In-Country Partner network
  • Successful service delivery – Service Level Agreement achievement and high degree of customer satisfaction. Accountable for the output and success of the EMEA Payroll Operations team.
  • Collaborating with the senior management team and C-Suite Executives to identify and deliver strategic service-delivery enhancements
  • Supporting Sales and Marketing in order to ensure accurate and most up to date data is shared with prospects
  • Accurate, timely and insightful business reporting and KPIs – identifying key trends that impact results and proactively move process/people changes to drive desired results
  • Manage and collaborate with global third parties, who are key to delivering successful payroll
  • Identify and implement process improvements, geared towards enhancing the customer- experience, increasing process efficiency and maximizing accuracy


  • Demonstrate expertise and an in-depth understanding of the iiPay operational process and competencies
  • Identifying key risks and removing known obstacles to client satisfaction
  • Communicating operational strategy and requirements throughout all departments
  • Building a team with payroll experience and some understanding of legislation in key countries.
  • Lead, support and mentor teams through challenging client conversations, acting as senior escalation point

 

What we are looking for in you

 

5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-client, complex global payroll environment. including management and implementation.

  • Experience in managing multiple, simultaneous, international client relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of delivering information on complex subject-matter in a succinct
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrable success in building, developing and scaling high-performing teams with a culture of
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in achieving the business goals through the management, empowerment and motivation of key management team
  • Can build client confidence through various scenarios including through difficult circumstances.
  • Build energetic followers who persevere and are accountable to self and
  • Strong presentation and negotiation
  • Escalation management and creative problem-solving
