Job description

Overview:

St. Luke’s Health System is growing and has a new and exciting opportunity with our On-Demand Virtual Care team.  Our On-Demand team is available 7 days a week, 12 hours a day to address many needs a patient may have including common symptoms, New Patient Welcome Visits to assist patients in establishing care, New Pregnancy Visits, and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits. Patients can join from home, school, work, an urgent care, or even the library. The selected candidate will be joining a team comprised of 8 full time APPs. 

 

The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions ranging from mild, to acute and/or chronic. The APP works under the supervision of our medical director team, and in collaboration with a team of other providers and staff.

  • Family Medicine experience preferred.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner of Physician’s Assistant program.
  • Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the Idaho Board of Nursing or Idaho Medical Board. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance license.
  • Existing license in Oregon is preferred.
