Location: Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 3000 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid-level Accountant to assist in managing financial data for roofing projects. The ideal candidate will support the companys CPA in job-costing, managing accounts payable and receivable, and generating financial reports. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel and a strong eye for detail in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Job-Costing: Perform data entry for roofing projects, ensuring timely and accurate job-costing records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor and record accounts payable from suppliers and manage internal accounts receivable, including basic reconciliation.
Financial Reporting: Generate regular reports on accounts payable and receivable for the internal CPA.
Record Management: Maintain organized financial records for each project.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; an associates degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in data entry and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Experience with financial forecasting and strategic planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
Previous experience in construction or roofing industry accounting is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with construction job-costing.
