Job Purpose
The Data Team acts as a central hub for asking analysis questions. We are a small team of developers and consultants who believe in impact driven work. We believe in democratisation of data and are major supporters of knowledge distribution to empower the company. We don't shy away from getting our hands dirty whenever it comes to anything data and we demand critical and collaborative debate when tackling problems.
As a Marketing Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding consumer behavior and shaping effective marketing strategies with key responsibilities listed below.


Key responsibilities
  • Collect and interpret research data about consumers and their buying habits.
  • Analyze user usage patterns, transaction data, and customer segmentation.
  • Identify target audiences and analyze app event analytics specific to campaigns to better understand their loan tendencies.
  • Set up, maintain, and document the marketing data lake so it can be used across the business.
  • Prepare scenarios to assess the potential success of marketing campaigns and their impact on sales. Track the actual performance of said campaigns on profitability vs a control.
  • Develop a system to track and control all related expenses related to a campaign.
  • Produce and maintain post mortem profit and loss reports for each campaign.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, data team, product marketing and key executives to make informed marketing decisions.

  • Qualifications
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations.
  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience relevant to the role (marketing or analytics)
  • Prior marketing analytics experience is required with a preference to those working in the credit card or personal loan space.
