We are looking for a Tax Executive to join our client's direct Tax team.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fully-fledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance, corporate, tax, legal, and gaming, and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of high-quality tax compliance work, including preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
Preparation of DDT10 exemptions, shareholder registrations, dividend warrants and tax refund registration forms.
Analysis and application of the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) rules.
Assisting in tax advisory assignments and in the research of tax matters.
Liaising with tax authorities.
Keeping abreast with direct tax developments locally and internationally.
Assisting in other ad-hoc tax projects as applicable.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A minimum of 1 year experience in a CSP environment (additional experience will be considered an asset).
Excellent command of accounting standards and Maltese tax legislation.
Working against deadlines and delivering in a timely manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese languages. Knowledge of a third language is considered a plus.
Working on your own initiative and in a team, with a pro-active approach.
Building relationships with clients and having a passion for delivering exceptional service.
EDUCATION
ACCA qualified or in the final stages of obtaining qualifications.

Flexibility in starting time, from 07:30 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
