What will be your work?

Ensure customer success by responding to tickets (both internal and external) to ensure 24x7 platform availability

Implement, and Support complex, scalable application infrastructure

Design, build, automate, deploy and support scalable applications on Public and Private Cloud

Install, Configure, Deploy, Standardize, Automate, Update, Support, and Troubleshoot services for customers such as:

LAMP/ LEMP Stack: Linux, Apache Or Nginx, MySQL, PHP

Setup and maintain virtualization stack: Xen and KVM

Database Services (MySQL/PerconaDB/MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora etc)

Application Servers consisting of a different kind of application stack

Email Services: Zimbra, Postal, Postfix, Exim

Scripting: Bash/Python

Version control system like git, svn, etc.

Configuration management (Ansible)

Maintain and enhance cloud management and monitoring tools

Coordinate with internal staff and schedule maintenance activities, including application upgrades, when applicable

Provide periodic status reports to internal staff regarding maintenance and upgrade activities

Requirements

2 + years of experience working in Cloud, enterprise server environment and/or web hosting environment

Strong Linux troubleshooting skill

Exposure to the public Cloud – AWS/Azure/Google Cloud & other

Knowledge of and familiarity with client/server software, DNS, and networking fundamentals including diagnostics with Linux tools

Scripting experience with Bash, Python or PHP

Excellent hands-on knowledge of config management tools – Puppet/Chef/Ansible

Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required

Fluent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and professional clients

It will be great if you knew...

Knowledge of Magento and WordPress

Experience of working with Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)

Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, (Other cloud-related certification also a plus)

Prior experience of remote work
