Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Job Description:

• Location: Fully remote, US timezone

  Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of products and features, guiding them from concept to deployment.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to grasp requirements and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Focus on user needs while making informed trade-offs among speed, quality, and functionality.

• Identify high-impact areas and be ready to engage where your skills are most needed across the technical stack.

• Tackle technical challenges to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers.

  Requirements:

•  Experience: Over 5 years in backend software development, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages and tools such as Python, React, React Native, AWS, Postgres, and JavaScript.

• Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for tackling challenging problems and a commitment to taking ownership of your work.

• Communication: Effective communication skills, enabling you to deliver solutions swiftly.

• Product Focus: Strong product instincts with a user-first mindset in designing technical

  solutions.

• Team Player: A collaborative attitude that enhances the performance of those around you

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the sports/trading card industry is a plus.
