What You Will Do

Lubrizol is looking for a collaborative sales professional to develop and create demand for Lubrizol products within the Industrial Piping, Commercial Plumbing, and Light Hazard Fire Sprinkler business in the Dallas Forth Worth region. Your ability to build trust and relationships with Engineers, Contractors, and key leaders in the industry will be critical to drive sales activities within your territory so that our direct customers' sales increase. You will represent Lubrizol at trade shows, conduct sales presentations and installation trainings, and use your subject matter expertise to aid in market evaluations. To be successful in the role, you should thrive as a road warrior, motivated to enhance the sales within your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving loyalty and demand for Lubrizol’s branded products through relationships developed at the Engineering, Contractor, and Ownership level.
  • Specification focus at the engineer and installing contractor level to ensure the usage of Lubrizol branded products.
  • Territory Management – develop and execute on Individual Territory Plans that allocate effort efficient across different types of Decision Influencers to optimize our business growth profile.
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager on development and execution of our go-to-market strategies.
  • Sponsor and train at product educational events to build interest and demand for Lubrizol’s products.
  • Attend and support trade shows and conferences to promote the benefits of Lubrizol’s products, both via educational events and those that are customer oriented.
  • High quality and timely CRM reporting on metrics (Engineer L&L’s, Sales activities, Project deals, Specifications, and trainings).
  • Develop a thorough understanding of technology, key product attributes, applications, and performance requirements in the focus market segments.
  • Identify, develop, and implement business development initiatives that enable results in the market for our products (e.g. new codes and standards that allow our product categories)

Skills That Make A Difference

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – Business or Technical, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of commissioned sales experience in Pipes, Valves, and Fittings Sector
  • Commercial Plumbing or Industrial Applications preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the United States (60%+).
  • Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology, and value selling programs.
  • Excellent sales and communication skills, as demonstrated by the ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
  • Candidate must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth region, and be willing to travel +60%
