Job Description

This position will be managing the composition work of print and digital price and specification books that make our products easy for customers to design, sell, and order our product.  This is a non-supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage execution and delivery of printed and digital price and specification books to be on time, accurate, on budget, and easy to use.
  • Manage selection of and relationships with composition vendors.
  • Obtain quotes, approvals and purchase orders for price and specification projects.
  • Manage forecast and budget of price & spec book projects and align with budget owners.
  • Own the project management process including management of Smartsheet files.
  • Ability to lead select Continuous Improvement initiatives as identified in relation to printed catalog processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather all necessary catalog information.
  • Communicate all requirements to vendors and manage vendors through completion of catalogs.
  • Meet with other project/business functional areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and easy-to-use catalogs.
  • Document existing and new processes.
  • Provide recommendations and implement continuous improvements to catalog creation processes.
  • Manage prioritizing multiple projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.  Estimated travel for this position is <5%.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor-level degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of similar work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines on cross-functional, complex projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required
  • Adobe Acrobat, 2020 Design software and Smartsheet experience is recommended
