A domestic field service engineer is responsible for the aftercare support of a diverse product range. Day to day duties extend from servicing, repairing and commissioning domestic gas products.
Installing new products is also part of the role, this requires the engineer to be able to amend and install new pipework and associated controls, this is common practice when replacing boilers we deem to be changed. Being adaptive, creative and passionate are some of the key characteristics required to successfully achieve the high expectation level within the department.
The role requires excellent communication skills to be able to effectively liaise with key contacts within the business to maintain customer satisfaction and product quality. Being part of a specialised team demands the engineer to be self-motivated and flexible, lengthy travel to provide support in areas outside of your normal work zone maybe necessity.

Bosch is looking for qualified, customer focused Field Service Engineers to join our Service Engineering community in the After Sales Department. You will be responsible for providing word-class support to our customers by servicing, maintaining, and repairing Bosch products.

Core hours (Mon – Fri, normally 8am start):
Your hours of work are flexible in order to carry out your duties as a Field Service Engineer but are based on 40 core hours per week, plus 20 weekend days per year. All jobs planned for the day need to be completed. Due to the nature of the job, you will be expected to be flexible in order to react to customer demand and the operational requirements of the business.
Your core 40 hours are inclusive of travel time to your start and finish location (normally your home).
