Description Title: Workday Business Analyst Location: Remote Duration: Long Term The Business Analyst will be working on IT-specific end-to-end workflows for procurement, assets, and projects to ensure that we have simple, correct, efficient processes that support IT Services and UW Medicine for our IT needs. They will need to understand current state and high-level future state design, and their role will be facilitating the creation of detailed future state design for us. The BA will also then support the creation of that future state and look across many process areas to ensure that they integrate. The BA will form part of ITS PMO, with a focus on the UW Financial Transformation.
Skills:
Experience working in an IT environment including scope definition, requirements gathering, performing cost/benefit analysis, business process re-engineering, etc.
Experience with a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods for understanding and documenting end-user and business owner requirements.
Experience in workflow creation, process improvement and standards development.
Ability to build strong business partnerships and deliver high quality products on time.
Experience leading, facilitating, and participating in cross-functional, cross organizational work groups to implement projects or organizational changes.
Knowledge of the industry standard Business Analyst best practices (e.g., IIBA BABOK).
Advanced level Microsoft Office skills.
ERP process experience is required, Workday experience is preferred
Preferred candidates will also have:
Knowledge of healthcare clinical and administrative information systems applications.
