Description

Our client is a dynamic organization seeking to add a talented Project Manager to their team. With a global footprint, they specialize in payroll, HR, benefits, and insurance industries, aiming to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Job Overview: The Project Manager will oversee and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. This role includes leading project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management. Candidates must have extensive global experience and in-depth knowledge in the payroll, HR, benefits, or insurance industries.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects, ensuring they meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply, and subcontract management, and progress reporting.
  • Solve complex problems and take new perspectives using existing solutions.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on projects of diverse scope, requiring good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions.
  • Network with internal and external personnel in your area of expertise.
  • Apply comprehensive project management concepts to lead and coordinate groups/resources, organize and track tasks, mitigate risks, engage stakeholders, create and monitor deliverables, and report on obstacles.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, scope statements, communication plans, and deployment timelines.
  • Research, format, and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, providing strategic recommendations.
  • Control and mitigate project risks through qualitative and quantitative analysis, planning risk responses, and establishing contingency plans.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as deliverables, financials, duration, benefits, and readiness, and communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners, third-party vendors, and leadership to ensure project alignment and support.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in project management within payroll, HR, benefits, or insurance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • US-based with global experience in India and/or the Philippines highly preferred (experience in Latin America or Eastern Europe is also acceptable).
  • PMP certification preferred.
