Job Description 

We are seeking a data analytics professional to support the data strategy necessary to enable Abercrombie & Fitch to better collect and utilize customer data. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed, detail and outcome-oriented individual who strives in a high-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for requirements gathering & validation of web data being sent to our data & analytics platforms, supporting the Data Collection Product Owner. Platforms you support include Tealium CDP and Adobe Analytics, supporting our cross-functional Digital Product and Testing teams. This role is heavily cross functional, partnering primarily with our Global Technology team, Data & Analytics team and other business functions, to successfully translate business requirements into data & platform requirements.

Your responsibilities expand across global markets, with the local marketing and analytics teams being your key customer. Being a subject matter expert on AnF’s web data, technology and analytics is going to be critical to ensure you’re able to provide the necessary support.

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Drive execution of customer data and analytics platforms (Web-Systems) to support digital product & testing vision and roadmap
  • Ensure requirements and setup align with the business and analytics use-cases
  • Coordinate closely with key stakeholders within Data Analytics, Digital Product and Technology
  • Responsible for Digital Product & Testing web data backlog grooming and completion, in conjunction with the Sr Analyst, Data Strategy
  • Ensures proper documentation and complete data dictionaries for systems

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Key Proficiencies include:

  • Experience in customer data and analytics products such as Web Analytics or CDPs
  • Confident working in a fast-moving environment, able to maintain multiple tasks while ensuring alignment with key partners
  • Good sense of curiosity with genuine desire to learn and think with agility – identifying patterns/trends and applying them in new and unfamiliar situations
  • Robust collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
  • Understanding of cultural nuances and previous experience working with people of different cultures and backgrounds
  • Self-starter mindset with a knack for solving complex problems
  • Strong relationship-building skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in customer/ web data and analytics space, ideally in retail
  • 1-3 years working directly in Tag Management systems, CDPs or Analytics tools, Adobe experience a plus
  • Working level knowledge of JavaScript, SQL or JSON required

Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $68,000 - $80,000.
