Sr Software Engineer

What you get to do in this role:   

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
• Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

To be successful in this role you have:

1. A total of 5+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years of experience in UI development.
2. Proven experience as a UI Developer. Familiarity with ServiceNow UI frameworks (Service Portal, UI Builder) is a plus.
3. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting.
4. Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
5. A portfolio of work showcasing a variety of production projects and deliverables
6. Design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar, is a plus.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
