Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Partnership Head to lead the growth of our corporate partnerships and merchant relationships. This role involves managing a team of Partnership and Corporate Relationship Managers to build, maintain, and expand our network of partners, driving business growth and customer engagement through innovative loyalty solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Oversee and lead the team of Corporate Partnership Managers and Merchant Partnership Managers.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure team success in securing high-value partnerships.
  • Strategic Partnership Development:
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities and partnerships across a range of industries, including retail, FMCG, entertainment, and hospitality.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients and merchants, ensuring the alignment of business objectives.
  • Design and implement partnership strategies that align with company growth objectives.

Corporate Relations & Merchant Management:

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate and merchant partners, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing the value of these partnerships.
  • Ensure the development of innovative loyalty and rewards solutions that meet the needs of both merchants and corporate partners.
  • Identify new subscription packages and co-branded opportunities to increase partner engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities in the loyalty and rewards industry.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team on potential growth areas and untapped market opportunities.

Revenue Generation:

  • Drive the growth of the partner network by achieving set financial targets and partnership goals.
  • Negotiate and close large-scale partnership deals that generate significant revenue and brand exposure.
  • Monitor the performance of partnership programs to ensure profitability and alignment with corporate goals.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership programs.
  • Regularly present to senior management on partnership performance, growth opportunities, and market insights.

Qualifications
  •  Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate relations, preferably within the loyalty, rewards, or digital platform industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a business development team and securing large-scale partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on building long-term business relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi market, business culture, and the rewards/loyalty landscape.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is required.
