We are building the infrastructure for decentralized AI development at scale. We aggregate global compute and enable researchers to collaboratively train state-of-the-art models through distributed training across clusters.
We're seeking a pragmatic Founding Protocol Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our decentralized AI protocol, the cornerstone of our ecosystem. This highly technical role demands deep expertise in protocol design, distributed systems and AI.
Architect the foundational design of our protocol for decentralized compute and intelligence, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
Implement protocol smart contracts and node software, iteratively experimenting and refining them to ensure a robust, collusion-resistant and scalable design
Engage with the broader decentralized AI ecosystem to foster adoption, collaboration, and innovation
Extensive experience designing and implementing secure, scalable distributed systems and cryptographic protocols
Proven track record developing and deploying reliable smart contracts and dApps on major blockchains (e.g. Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains)
Strong grasp of computer science, cryptography and consensus fundamentals
Pragmatic approach to protocol development that involves iteratively implementation and experimentation
Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, distributed training techniques, and AI infrastructure is a strong plus
Competitive compensation, including equity and token incentives, aligning your success with the growth and impact of Prime Intellect.
Flexible work arrangements, with the option to work remotely or in-person at our offices in San Francisco.
Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for international candidates.
Quarterly team off-sites, hackathons, conferences and learning opportunities.
Opportunity to work with a talented, hard-working and mission-driven team, pushing the frontier of decentralized AI protocols
We have recently raised a $5.5 million seed round from an awesome group of investors and angels, such as Clem from HuggingFace, Juan Benet from Protocol Labs, Erik Voorhees from Venice AI, and many more.
If you're excited about the opportunity to build the foundation for the future of decentralized AI and create a platform that empowers developers and researchers to push the boundaries of what's possible, we'd love to hear from you.
