Job description

About the Role

As the Communications and Public Relations Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of VTEX's communication strategy, ensuring our messaging is aligned across all channels, regions, and stakeholders. You will be the key driver in crafting and overseeing the execution of both internal and external communication initiatives that elevate our brand and build strong relationships with the media, partners, and internal teams.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all communication efforts — from PR campaigns to internal newsletters — are aligned with VTEX’s global goals. You'll take charge of managing media relationships, overseeing the production of high-quality content, and leading strategic initiatives that bolster VTEX’s market positioning as a SaaS leader in the ecommerce space.

Your expertise in both B2B communication and technology will help drive our narrative, solidifying VTEX’s presence in the market. Attention to detail, the ability to align multiple stakeholders, and a proactive attitude will be crucial to your success.

 

What you will do
  • Lead and manage the communications team, ensuring alignment with the broader company vision.
  • Review and approve communication materials to maintain consistency and ensure they reflect VTEX’s tone and values.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all communications — from press releases to internal memos — are aligned with VTEX’s strategic goals.
  • Lead media training initiatives and create briefings to prepare VTEX spokespeople for public appearances.
  • Oversee relationships with external agencies and partners, ensuring smooth execution of communication strategies across all channels.
  • Ensure communication strategies are in sync across all regions, reflecting VTEX’s global objectives.
  • Monitor and report on communication performance, leveraging platforms like Google Analytics, Hubspot, and Cision to assess success and adjust strategies as needed.

Content Creation and Strategy

  • Design communication plans for corporate events, product launches, and success stories, ensuring seamless execution and high impact.
  • Assist in the research, drafting, and promotion of client case studies across social channels, ensuring visibility and engagement.
  • Lead mass communication efforts such as newsletters and webinars, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders before and after each event.
  • Conduct market research to create insightful content that positions VTEX as a thought leader in the e-commerce space.
  • Support the development of content for partner campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the events team to produce high-quality content, presentations, and post-event communication materials for both large and small events.

 

Who you are
  • Proven track record of managing communication strategies in a global setting.
  • Experience with platforms such as Cision, Google Analytics, and Hubspot.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
  • Interest and knowledge in technology, particularly in the e-commerce space.
