Role Overview:

The VP of Marketing and Growth is a strategic executive role responsible for leading the company’s growth strategy and ensuring alignment between product marketing, branding, and revenue objectives. This role manages two distinct audiences—homeowners (sellers) and real estate investors—by overseeing the strategy behind lead generation, customer experience, and conversion optimization across both segments.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and continuously refining the entire customer journey, from initial lead generation to transaction closure. You will also manage the product strategy behind all marketing operations, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are in line with the company’s revenue goals. The VP of Marketing and Growth collaborates closely with the sales, tech, and product teams, aligning efforts to improve platform functionality, CRM automation, and user experience across all touchpoints.

You will also lead the overall branding efforts, managing content creation, digital marketing campaigns, and cross-functional operations, ensuring that customer acquisition translates directly into revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and growth strategy aimed at maximizing lead generation and improving conversion rates for both seller and investor audiences.
  • Lead the product-marketing strategy, ensuring campaigns, branding, and platform experiences are aligned with revenue growth targets.
  • Provide creative and strategic direction for all marketing initiatives, including customer journeys, paid and organic campaigns, social media, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Ensure alignment with sales and product teams to improve lead acquisition, customer engagement, and overall conversion across the company’s funnel.
  • Drive innovation within the marketing department, developing new marketing channels, optimizing the marketing budget, and improving return on investment (ROI) and (CAC) customer acquisition cost.

2. Customer Experience & Product Strategy

  • Oversee the design, strategy, and implementation of the entire customer journey for both sellers and investors—from lead generation to transaction close.
  • Lead the creation of user experiences and customer touchpoints, including the design and execution of website landing pages, pre-qualification forms, and CRM automations that drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to ensure CRM systems and platform functionality are aligned with growth objectives, following up on development, testing, and approval of all platform enhancements.
  • Ensure continuous optimization of the CRM journey, working on segmentation, lead nurturing, and data accuracy to ensure the smooth flow of leads through the pipeline.
  • Innovate and refine the customer journey based on performance data, ensuring a personalized and effective approach to both sellers and investors.

3. CRM Management & Data Analysis

  • Lead and manage CRM systems (Zoho, HubSpot), ensuring accurate data management, segmentation, and lead tracking across all stages of the customer journey.
  • Oversee the automation of email, SMS, and campaign sequences to improve lead nurturing, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Conduct CRM audits, ensuring that the data structure supports seamless decision-making for the marketing and sales teams.
  • Own the CRM journey, ensuring it is fully integrated into marketing and sales operations, allowing for real-time updates and visibility on lead progression and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to implement CRM integrations that streamline data flow between departments, improve customer insights, and optimize performance.

4. Lead Generation, Campaign Management, & Conversion Optimization

  • Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid media, organic, partnerships, and social media, focusing on lead generation for both seller and investor audiences.
  • Implement AI-driven initiatives to improve lead qualification and increase customer interactions, driving higher conversion rates.
  • Optimize all lead generation channels, focusing on campaign performance, ROI, and alignment with revenue goals.
  • Continuously analyze campaign data and adjust strategies to improve the lead-to-deal conversion rate, ensuring that all touchpoints are optimized for engagement.
  • Manage partnerships with external platforms, ensuring high-quality lead acquisition and improved performance across third-party channels.

5. Branding, Content, & Creative Direction

  • Oversee the development of the company’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels—digital and offline.
  • Lead the creation of marketing collateral, including social media, blogs, email campaigns, and paid media assets, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and growth objectives.
  • Provide creative direction for all marketing materials, from website content to promotional ads, ensuring that the company’s messaging resonates with target audiences.

6. Cross-Department Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain partnerships with strategic platforms and/or companies to enhance lead acquisition and brand awareness, evaluating their performance regularly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure leads are nurtured through the funnel, helping the company close deals effectively.
  • Work closely with the tech team to ensure the platform is aligned with marketing strategies, overseeing the testing and approval of all tech-related projects to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Support partnerships with third-party companies to ensure high lead quality and conversion from these channels.

7. Performance Tracking & Budget Management

  • Own the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective spending across all campaigns and initiatives.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews, analyzing data on lead generation, conversion rates, campaign performance, and the overall impact on revenue.
  • Provide detailed reports on key metrics and campaign ROI, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing performance.
  • Track monthly reports on overall marketing performance, ensuring accurate data analysis and proposing necessary adjustments to meet growth objectives.


Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in the real estate or PropTech industry, focusing on residential real estate transactions.
  • Proven success in strategic marketing, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and designing comprehensive product-marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in CRM systems (Zoho, HubSpot), lead generation, data management, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong proficiency with AI-driven marketing tools and the ability to leverage automation and AI in customer interactions and lead qualification.
  • Experience in SEO, paid media, and organic growth strategies across various digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media).
  • Tech-savvy, with a solid understanding of UX/UI, CRM integrations, data flow, and platform development.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage marketing budgets, track performance, and drive business growth.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with tech and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts are fully integrated into the company’s platform and product development.
  • Financial acumen and hands-on experience managing marketing expenses and budgets, budget forecasting and managing spend-to-revenue ratios.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
