Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect (Freelance)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to join our team as a freelance consultant, supporting clients in Belgium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 solutions that align with business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing, and secure Dynamics 365 architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:
  

  • Lead the design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry best practices.
    
  • Oversee the architecture of various Dynamics 365 modules including Busniess Central, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engagement.
    
  • Ensure proper integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems and platforms (e.g., Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint).
    

• Stakeholder Management:
  

  • Work with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and provide expert guidance.
    
  • Lead workshops and meetings with senior management to present proposed solutions and technical architectures.
    

• Customization & Development Oversight:
  

  • Provide guidance on customization of Dynamics 365, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
    
  • Oversee the development of custom components, including plugins, workflows, and integrations using C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform.
    

• Project Leadership & Collaboration:
  

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure that solution designs are properly implemented.
    
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
    

• Security & Compliance:
  

  • Ensure that all solutions are compliant with security standards, data privacy regulations, and enterprise governance models.
    

• Performance Optimization:
  

  • Ensure that all Dynamics 365 implementations are optimised for performance, scalability, and reliability.
    

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or similar senior-level role.
  
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Engagement) and experience designing large-scale, complex architectures.
  
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  
• Expertise in customization and development using C#, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  
• Fluency in Dutch and French (mandatory), with proficiency in English.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert.
  
• Experience in industries such as finance, retail, manufacturing, or public sector is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools.
