Job Overview

The Director, Digital Marketing & Website Operations will report to the Vice President, Corporate Marketing and is responsible for driving overall digital marketing strategy and execution and overseeing SCS websites' architecture, content, design, analytics, and SEO/SEM tactics. The Director will work to ensure relevant, consistent, and engaging web content is disseminated in order to attract site traffic and conversions. This position will conduct complex website analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company, and will be responsible for project management and execution of all projects relating to online paid advertising via social media, Google Ads, and AI-generated Ads, to drive client success, innovation, and growth in new and existing markets. The Director, Digital Marketing & Website Operations will be a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for driving growth and working across company channels.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and manage leadership-driven digital marketing, website and search engine marketing projects, defining and communicating project milestones, scope of work, launches, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Build, plan, and implement the overall SCS digital marketing strategy and roadmap
  • Oversee the strategy and functionality, content, analytics, and SEO/SEM tactics of the SCS corporate website and all SCS microsites, including international sites and SCS sister companies’ sites
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction using data and analysis to target audiences and measure ROI
  • Manage engagement and website budgeting, forecasting process, and reporting for traffic, spend, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the divisional staff and leadership to establish strategy and performance targets for online presence and sales opportunities while ensuring that online strategy supports their goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with SCS international partners and program managers for global website synchronization on promotions, content updates, translation, and localization
  • Recommend and implement SEO/SEM strategies to improve online presence and use analytics and other measurement tools to track, evaluate, and report on metrics
  • Manage social media to align paid advertising and social media advertising to website traffic and conversion goals
  • Manage Sr. Website Coordinator overseeing content updates, paid social, and increasing responsibility for SCS websites

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field and
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing for business to business companies and
  • 3+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge with HubSpot and Salesforce, as well as proven, recent experience managing Drupal websites
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Professional experience in marketing, communications, social media, web administration, and SEO/SEM tactics and implementation
  • Knowledge of web development tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Drupal, and Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Knowledge and experience with UX/UI concepts and execution
  • High level of proficiency working with marketing automation platforms, specifically HubSpot
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and generate content about complex scientific topics
  • Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple projects with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in relevant field
  • Experience in content management and coding

Working Remotely

SCS is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process.

Estimated Annual Salary

$95,000 - $155,000
