How YOU will make a Difference:

The Product Manager is responsible for the development and ongoing oversight of strategies to grow one or more of HMA’s products. You will develop deep subject-matter-expertise and understanding of our customers and our market to design innovative products that anticipate customer needs. This dynamic role partners heavily with stakeholders across our business to seek and synthesize market intelligence and trends, craft and evaluate new product concepts, and assess and identify products that align with HMA’s vision, mission, and values. You will manage the product lifecycle for your assigned product(s) to maximize portfolio growth. You’ll also partner to drive your market research, align resources, and manage your product roadmap execution, ensure go-to-market readiness and product performance reporting and analysis to inform your ongoing product evolution.


What YOU will do:

Design, plan, and manage the development of new products and enhancements of existing products based on product strategy, business objectives, and market analysis that meet the needs of our clients and members aligned to company strategy. As the subject-matter-expert for your assigned products, you will:


  1. Design and develop prioritized user stories and product features that match product strategy and differentiate us from the competition.
  2. Build formidable data-driven business cases that guide a decisive product build, buy, or hybrid design decision.
  3. Ensure the product value proposition leads the market where it matters most.
  4. Develop resource plans, pricing, and internal support for product plans.
  5. Manage the product life cycle and roadmap.
  6. Launch new products and measure performance.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to define, design, and deliver new products, product enhancements, and execute respective product roadmaps.
  8. Work with technical and operations teams to determine the “how” of a solution to accompany the Product Manager’s role of providing the “what” and “why,” and define testing plans to validate product releases.


Develop product go-to-market and seasonal marketing strategy, including associated content for the Product BoM and sales readiness of assigned or new products:


  1. Develop, facilitate, and deliver effective training, tools, content, and channel communications to empower brokers and internal teams to confidently sell and launch assigned products.
  2. Develop and maintain internal and external product documentation, product instructions and user guides.
  3. Define product metrics and build reports.
  4. Assist in building sales and marketing content strategies.
  5. Manage high priority and complex projects from inception to execution within agreed-upon timelines.
  6. May attend trade shows, open enrollment, and other events.
  7. Deliver presentations, external training, and live or on-demand webinars to promote the product.



Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management or Product Marketing within the healthcare, service, financial, or insurance industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing PBM relationships and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience building product strategies with medium to long term product roadmaps.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to tailor to various audiences and environments.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Expert problem solving and organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility and ability to shift gears and adapt quickly to changes in the business.
  • Experience with MS PowerBI, Dynamics, and Office Suite including advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.


Compensation:

The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $108,000 - $146,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available.
