Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Supervisor specialising in Solar small Gas Turbines to join the team in Oberhausen, Germany.

The purpose of the position is to contribute to the EthosEnergy Light Turbines Ltd. vision of creating fast, dependable and creative solutions for our Customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Full global travel, working in onshore, offshore and remote site locations
  • Responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance, breakdown and ad hoc support, installation and commissioning of Solar rotating machinery, installation and commissioning of retro-fit projects, all in order to meet the business demands supporting our Client base
  • Occasional attendance to EthosEnergy locations to provide preparatory/technical support to the business. Both mechanically and also in relation to the development, review, preparation, feedback re. controls retro-fit projects prior to and post on-site execution of projects
  • Client facing; effective leadership of a team, effective supervision skills, effective communication skills both internally and externally
  • Timely submission of comprehensive site visit reports and all required associated documentation
  • Liaise with Commercial functions to ensure all customer documentation is completed and that briefings are attended
  • Working with varying areas for development of Control retrofit solutions, etc
  • Represent EthosEnergy at site meetings

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to plan, lead and supervise a team and the job effectively
  • Fault finding and diagnosis skills essential
  • Must be able to interpret technical requests from customers and Project/Contract Managers
  • Reporting writing skills essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong customer service background
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines

Experience

  • Product knowledge of Solar small Gas Turbine range of packages is essential; - Saturn, Centaur, Taurus & Mars. - Occasionally Titan

Education Requirements
