Job description

Our clients offer a platform that enables businesses to grow internationally by providing a wide array of e-commerce and mail delivery services. Boasting a global presence covering 200 countries and territories. They are the frontrunners in offering e-commerce parcel solutions for online retailers worldwide.

Sales Head  South Korea Market

Amid rapid growth and geographical expansion, they are establishing a new sales leader (first Korea hire), reporting directly to the NA BD Head based in Singapore. Utilizing their core strengths in logistics and cross-border deliveries in partnership with a local collaborator, the Sales Head will spearhead the expansion of cross-border e-commerce flows from South Korean marketplaces and online sellers to global destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and sales plan for the South Korea market.
  • Prospect Identification: Pinpoint key prospects and targets for this new proposition.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with functional teams in APAC (Product, Pricing, Operations, and IT) to ensure optimal service/proposition delivery to clients.
  • Market Knowledge: Cultivate a deep understanding of the local e-commerce landscape in the Korean market.
  • Value Proposition: Shape and refine the value proposition based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Business Analysis: Identify and map business strengths and customer requirements.
  • Market Positioning: Position the company as a leader in cross-border e-commerce within Korea.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with online retailers and cross-border e-commerce/logistics processes and operations in Korea.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales strategy, launch a business from the ground up, and exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English.
