Senior Project Manager OAA Healthcare

Location: Fully Remote (Canada-wide)

About the Opportunity

City Build Recruitment is excited to partner with our client, a top-tier multidisciplinary architecture firm, to find a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in healthcare projects. This role is ideal for a licensed OAA Architect with 10+ years of project management experience who excels in managing healthcare projects from renovations to new builds.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, scope, and change management. This is an opportunity for a solution-oriented leader to deliver complex healthcare projects remotely, collaborating with a diverse team across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead the successful planning and execution of large-scale healthcare projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Scope Management: Ensure accurate and thorough project scope definition, with a strong focus on delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Financial Management: Develop, oversee, and ensure adherence to project budgets, and manage financial risks.
  • Scheduling: Create and monitor project schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Change Management: Implement effective change management strategies to adapt to project changes and evolving client needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project technologists and architects to ensure high-quality design and technical execution.
  • Client Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and meeting their needs through effective communication and project management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Studio Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

  • Proven expertise in managing the full project lifecycle, including scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience managing complex budgets.

  • Change management experience, with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the team.
