DevOps Senior Engineer for File Transfer Solutions (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and support mainly our MoveIt Transfer and MoveIt Automation applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of these applications and a good understanding and overview of other solutions and will be responsible for ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.

As a DevOps Senior Engineer for File Transfer Solutions, you will

• Work with architects, deploy, and maintain file transfer environments
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place for our services
• Monitor the health and performance of our file transfer applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfer applications
• Manage and optimize application configurations and settings
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance
• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate file transfer services with other systems and services
• Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices

About you

• A few years of experience in an engineer role with specific experience supporting file transfer solutions
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing file transfer solutions in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of MoveIt Transfer and MoveIt Automation, including installation, configuration, and administration
• Good understanding of other file transfer solutions
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global virtual team
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus
