We currently have a career opportunity for IBM Planning Analytics Consultant to join our Data & Analytics Team. This is a 100% remote role.

Job Overview:

As a Lead Technical Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on the interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions using IBM's Planning Analytics platform.
  • Works on complex projects and leverages its knowledge of applications development;
  • Develops, create, and modify application code for complex applications.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and provides expert guidance on detailed design/code/test quality reviews for components.
  • Supports the implementation of complex enhancements to existing Planning Analytics applications and major new Planning Analytics applications across the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with Finance and Accounting teams to discuss & understand business requirements and creates functional requirement specifications.
  • Ensure efficient data management and deliver insightful financial reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of planning system architecture, components, and data integration processes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Thorough understanding of financial processes in a corporate environment
  • Implements Planning Analytics/ TM1 solutions using TM1 Rules, TI Processes, PAx, and PAW.
  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, and deliver.
  • Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of IBM Planning Analytics implementation experience from requirements to deployment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IBM Planning Analytics implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Passionate coders with 3-5 years of application development experience.
  • Client-facing or consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management experience
  • High aptitude for complex problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
  • Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
  • Future technology leaders- dynamic individuals energized by fast-paced personal and professional growth.
  • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision-makers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or comparable major.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
