Funds & Co-Investments Group (FCG)

FCG NA is one of the world’s largest private equity investors. The team aims to identify and invest with leading private equity funds, and also in selective co-investments alongside GIC PE’s fund managers worldwide, while adopting a long-term view. We have over 50 active relationships with fund managers and have coinvested in hundreds of companies.

 

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that is one of the largest, and most established private equity investors in the world today.

 

What will you do as an Associate?

  • Work as a key member of small deal teams to assess and execute private equity fund investments and co-investments across various strategies and industries
  • Present and defend investment proposals to Investment Committees
  • Help monitor and maintain relationships with existing managers and source potential new fund managers
  • Represent GIC at fund managers’ annual investor meetings and participate in meetings with the leaders of PE firms and the management teams of prospective co-investments
  • Work on special projects typically related to strategy, portfolio planning and portfolio construction

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role? 

  • BA/BS with strong academic qualifications.
  • At least 1 year of work experience at a leading investment bank, consulting firm or in the Private Equity industry
  • Ideally the candidate would have had at least some exposure to the Private Equity industry
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Strong commercial judgment
  • A team-player, with maturity, integrity and the ability to engage with senior counterparties
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Well-organised, hard-working, self-starter, with an ability to work independently

Compensation

Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results. Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $121,000 and $161,100. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
