Job Description

Key Missions of a Product Owner for Mobile Applications

  1. Backlog Management
    • Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features, bug fixes, and improvements.
    • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clear understanding for the development team.
    • Continuously refine and adjust the backlog based on changing priorities and feedback.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as the main point of contact between the development team and other stakeholders (Product Management, Business Unit leaders, etc …)
    • Gather and analyze feedback from users, stakeholders to make informed decisions.
    • Communicate product progress, priorities, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
  3. Product Development Oversight
    • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with product goals.
    • Provide clarity and direction during the development process, ensuring that the team stays focused on priorities.
    • Work closely with the QA team to define and approve test cases and participate in user acceptance testing.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to assess product performance.
    • Use data-driven insights to make decisions about future developments and optimizations.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing changes based on performance assessments and user feedback.

As part of your onboarding, you'll begin by leading the development of a new application designed to facilitate the installation of Legrand Smart Home systems for electrical installers.

Over time, and depending on your ability to expand your scope, you'll also take charge of the Home + Control application to ensure a cohesive user experience across all platforms.

Qualifications
  • You must have an engineering degree.
  • You must have at least 3 years' experience, including 1 significant experience in mobile application development.
