We are currently seeking Engineer/Senior Engineer/Lead Engineer -Piping to join our team based in Ahmedabad, India.
About The Job
As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily on FEED, Design and Detail Engineering activities/projects. Your main responsibilities includes but not limited to;
Technical management of the piping personnel under his responsibilities.
Provide guidance to all team members with proper work distribution.
Coordination activities with specialists’ engineers like stress and material leads.
Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements etc.
Coordination with other disciplines.
Participate in meetings and assist in technical matters with clients / vendors and contractors.
3D Modelling in S3D / E3D, Support modeling, Piping studies of Column, exchanger and Pump, compressor, Review of Vendor drawings, Checking of Isometrics, preparation of SPM Data sheet.
Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop, lesson learned workshops, constructability review and Design/model review meetings.
Organize periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during this period.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Extensive expertise in piping Design/Engineering
atleast 6+ years’ experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer
Should have extensive knowledge and experience in developing Plot Plans, piping layouts, pipe routing study etc. of Oil and Gas, offshore and onshore projects
Should have experience in handing process units in 3D environment using E3D, SP3D tools
