Brief Objectives:
A large E-commerce project operates in 25+ countries and has tens of millions of URL pages. For SEO tasks, you need to work with data to identify potential traffic entry points and their subsequent scoring (importance ranking). This requires collecting and comparing data from different sources, testing and finding patterns, forming conclusions including visualisations.
Requirements:
Knowledge of statistics with application in the application domain (ability/experience to apply theoretical foundations in application tasks on aggregation, transformation, data analysis).
Using internal data (sales, traffic, etc.) to generate parameters for scoring/rating entities.
Calculation of entity ratings with subsequent updating and testing
Working with Google Sheets (+ Query).
Writing scripts for Google Sheets to create test or working tools for data workers.
Previous work with SEO or marketing tasks would be a plus.
Python (or other language): working with API of different data collection services (for testing, MVP preparation), data automation, CLI scripting.
SQL: working with internal data stored in separate showcases (tables) for preliminary calculations and analyses. Understanding how to form a proper table structure to store data (for seamless migration of MVP variants).
Experience with tools/technologies: GoogleSheets + Query Language, Google Apps Script (optional), Google Looker Studio, PowerBI, GA/GTM (optional), SQL, Python.
