Job description

Data engineer/Application Engineer , 40hours/week - freelance/contract

An Applications engineer is called to support the Data Ingestion team enabling a data migration program and transition of the data to the cloud.

The contractor will be responsible for the automation of Data governance and Data Ingestion routines necessary for data migration from various on-prem sources to a new cloud-based Data Lake solution Conduct, and automate end-to-end tests to verify results of data migration work streams both in Data Lake and Data Warehouse.

Key requirements: Python/Java, SQL, AWS + Snowflake, stakeholder communication

Practical info: start ASAP, €65,- hourly, 40h/week; remote or on-site;
the initial contract is for 4 months contract with the possibility to extend.
