Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points for both authenticated and non-authenticated user journeys
  • Analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and scenarios based on research insights
  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital products that align with product features, interactions, and user stories, as well as brand and UX standards, patterns, and components
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, interaction flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate and specify design concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual and interactive experience
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system as necessary to deliver design specifications
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to continuously refine requirements and deliver features
  • Actively participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
  • Offer UX guidance and expertise throughout the development process to meet defined acceptance criteria
  • Support and engage in client-led usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and uncover potential issues
  • Analyze usability test results and provide recommendations for design improvements
  • Contribute to QA reviews and testing to ensure the final product delivers an exceptional user experience


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX and UI design, preferably within a digital product development environment
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI design projects, user research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing results
  • Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, and Mural
  • Solid understanding of design thinking and lean UX principles
  • Significant experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility best practices
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience with authenticated and non-authenticated user experience design
  • Familiarity with Financial Services products, experiences, and industry standards
  • Knowledge of analytics tools and measurement strategies
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and relevant platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred
