Earthstream are proud to be recruiting a Commissioning Engineer Control Technology for a group of business & technology consultants with a long standing prescence within the Automotive industry

Job Role: Commissioning Engineer Control Technology

Location: Germany

Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 plus benefits

As a Commissioning Engineer Control Technology your remit will include:

Program creation and software preparation including testing on virtual models are part of your responsibilities
You will be responsible for commissioning and optimizing the control technology (including PLC/CNC/HMI) of fully automatic, CNC-controlled machining systems
The initial commissioning at our customers' site with subsequent relocation and recommissioning at the end customer are also part of your work
You are responsible for programming the system according to customer standards
You carry out Safety Integrated acceptance tests
You will be responsible for integrating the machines into existing IT systems (operational data acquisition, production control, etc.) and testing machine functions
You are responsible for troubleshooting and fixing electrical hardware and software
You document results and train our customers

What you will bring to the company:

Completed training in mechanical and/or electrical field
CNC basic training
PLC project experience, preferably with Siemens systems
Willingness to travel (>90%); nationally and internationally
Experience with different mechatronic processes
Dealing with digital tools
