Job description

Due to team growth the position of Risk and Assurance Manager (Divisional) has become available to join our driven Risk and Assurance Team

As part of our Risk and Assurance team, this is a key role supporting our divisions in making risk-informed decisions, ensuring effective management of risk across sectors, and in driving our risk transformation activities. The Risk and Assurance Manager provides targeted support to bids and contracts, helping teams to design, properly embed and gain value from risk management activities. We are looking for creative, self-driven individuals with the interpersonal and technical skills required to lead and advise on complex risk matters, and practical experience of project and contract risk management. This role offers unique variety, spanning three sectors and work across multiple risk perspectives (project, contract and business), and would suit an established project risk practitioner looking to build experience of broader aspects of enterprise risk management and assurance.

This role is remote with occasional travel to the London

Role Requirements

  • APM risk certificate level 2 or OGC / Axelos Management of Risk (MoR) Practitioner Certificate
  • Good understanding of risk arrangements across commercial, operational, contract and project / programme perspectives.
  • Proficient in the use of common risk register tools (e.g. SWORD ARM)
  • Proficient (practitioner level) in both Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis and Cost Risk Modelling, familiar with common software applications including Palisade @Risk and Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (formerly Pertmaster)
