Job Description

As a Senior Director of product management, you will lead a group of Product specialists dedicated to helping customers understand and leverage our AI capabilities. This pivotal role will be responsible for guiding our customers' successful adoption of Oracle AI Vector Search and other critical database functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex programs to ensure our customers achieve their goals and become enthusiastic advocates for our solutions.

Direct, lead, and mentor a team of product specialists helping customers to get the most from our AI engine.

  • This role will require leadership partnering across multiple organizations within the Database Development Group, key engineering teams, documentation, LiveLabs, account teams, solution architects, partner organizations, and product and corporate marketing.
  • Establish relationships with clients and drive executive engagements.
  • Define and execute strategic plans to drive the successful implementation and adoption of Oracle AI Vector Search.
  • Partner with the field to recommend an effective AI strategy to customers, help them successfully implement it, and become referenceable.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry-standard methodologies, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
  • Act as a leader with vision and trusted advisor to the SVP of our AI engine development team.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including customers, industry experts, and internal teams, to understand customer needs and competitive landscape, crafting the product roadmap and strategy accordingly.
  • Sets Goals and Expectations for performance and works with employees to establish specific, measurable goals and commitments.
  • Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

US: Hiring Range: from $160,000 - $338,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
