Multi Skilled Gas (Combustion) Bias Engineer based in London

Voltix Services is a leading provider of integrated facility management solutions. We are currently seeking a diligent Gas (Combustion) Bias Engineer - Mobile
to join our dynamic team in London. 

This role requires an experienced professional with a strong aptitude for data analysis who is capable of maintaining and repairing various building systems while being mobile across different locations in London.

Responsibilities

To carry out planned and reactive maintenance issued through our OPS team within set time frames to include, but not limited to, carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems and M&E equipment such as pumps & pressurisation units, basic electrical and plumbing works, emergency lighting testing and tap temperature recording.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience of working in a commercial environment.

Competent working knowledge of all aspects associated with building systems and building services maintenance

Excellent customer service

Valid commercial Gas Safe qualifications, see below (Commercial gas catering & Oftec (oil) certified an advantage)

• COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety Course
• CODNCO1 Changeover Domestic to Commercial
• ICPN1 Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework
• CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances
• CDGA1 Direct Fired Commercial Appliances
• CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters
• TPCP1a Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of Pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume or 6″ in diameter
• MET4 Diaphragm Gas Meter Course

Proven (preferably min. 3 years) working experience as a combustion engineer and working on electrical and plumbing systems.

Good standard of Health and Safety knowledge and application

What's in it for you?

Working hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Flexible working hours may be required during busy periods

Salary of £45 - £50K + overtime, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

23-days annual leave plus BH.
