This is a remote position.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing overall accounting duties. You will support our business growth and accounting department by ensuring that our financial ledgers are up to date monthly, you will also assist with the monthly statutory filing of taxes to the government agencies.

Responsibilities
Process daily transactions in our cloud-based accounting system.
Post monthly journals, recurring, accrual, and payroll entries.
Maintain general ledger, incl. account reconciliation and resolving of discrepancies.
Encoding and reconciliation of bank statements.
Manage Accounts Payable, incl. PO creation, monitoring of vendor statements, preparing vendor payments, and resolving payment disputes.
Manage Accounts Receivable, incl. generating of sales invoices, AR collection and dispute resolution, and processing of billing adjustments and refunds.
Manage month-end closing, and assist in reporting and analysis of the financial statement, balance sheet, and P&L.
Assisting the Accounting Manager with audits, forecasting, and other financial planning.
Assist team members where needed to accomplish department goals.
Prepare ad-hoc reports to the management as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented
Able to analyze financial records
Self-motivated and independent
Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
Willing to work during US Eastern Standard Time working hours.
