Job description

Position Overview

The Channel Program Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the Fluke Americas Channels Program. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Channel Sales and Marketing, this role is critical in ensuring seamless implementation and coordination across all facets of our Channel Partner Program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in channel program management and strategic planning, with a proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct management authority. You will be responsible for managing policy deployment, program messaging, and annual updates, as well as facilitating the annual program renewal process in collaboration with sales owners. This position demands proficiency in budget coordination, ROI evaluation, and the development of support processes for distributor partners. Additionally, the Channel Program Manager will lead the annual Partner of the Year program, manage performance metrics using PowerBI, and ensure up-to-date marketplace management practices. The candidate's expertise in visual merchandising strategy and effective communication through our Unified Partner Portal will be essential to the success of our channel initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong ability to prioritize multiple projects, drive change, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Channel Program

  • Serve as the voice and visionary for the direction of the Fluke Americas Channels Program.
  • Implement updated policies regarding "Where to Buy" and the Authorized Distributor page on Fluke.com.
  • Develop and manage program-specific messaging through our Unified Partner Portal.
  • Coordinate annual program updates across multiple internal stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate the annual program renewal in partnership with sales owners for each channel partner account, adhering to the Channel Program Guidelines.
  • Educate and train internal teams responsible for communicating program updates to partners.
  • Collaborate with finance and Channel Marketing on budget requirements as part of the Channel Program.
  • Establish key metrics to evaluate program-level ROI.
  • Develop processes to support and nurture "tail end" (non-named) distributor partners.

Partner Of The Year

  • Lead a cross-functional team in the creation and implementation of the annual Partner of the Year (POY) program.
  • Manage PowerBI reports and dashboards to evaluate partner performance.
  • Ensure consistent communication of metrics to sales and marketing teams for partner status updates.
  • Develop the agenda for the annual Partner of the Year Awards.

Marketplace Management

  • Develop standard work and daily visual management practices to analyze and deploy intelligence regarding street price health across various marketplaces and ecommerce sites.
  • Oversee and utilize tools like PriceSpider to monitor street prices, ensuring fairness in the marketplace; coordinate with internal teams (NAMs) to address price concerns with partners.
  • Create analytics to measure the impact of promotions across the entire channel footprint.
  • Maintain up-to-date “landing pages” on Fluke.com and FlukeNetworks.com for "Where-to-Buy" online and nearby.

Plan-O-Grams And Visual Merchandising

  • Develop high-impact and scalable visual merchandising strategies for a wide range of partners and branches.
  • Formulate a visual merchandising strategy informed by the Voice of Customer for brick-and-mortar transactions.
  • Coordinate updates and reporting on utilization and effectiveness.
  • Establish metrics to measure the ROI of various merchandising initiatives.
  • Communicate merchandising messaging through our Unified Partner Portal.
  • Educate and train internal teams responsible for merchandising with partners.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
