Collections Manager

Job Description

The Role:

• Develop, implement, and track collection strategies to prevent losses.
• Monitor collection KPIs to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure adherence to collection processes by the entire team.
• Control and supervise operations, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Monitor delinquency trends on a daily basis.
• Review performance strategies to mitigate the risk of fraud arising from credits reviewed by the Fraud Prevention Unit (FPU).
• Review exceptional cases conducted by the Originations team to verify compliance with established fraud prevention policies, findings, and procedures to identify unusual operations and patterns, issuing alerts to reduce the risk of fraud.
• Review the performance of External Collection Agencies, develop collection strategies in collaboration with them, and design corrective action plans.
• Review special cases in conjunction with External Collection Agencies.
• Review the status of contracts that have not made any payments to identify potential fraud.
• Monitor and guide the Re-Writes team on strategies to reduce losses by offering customers options to recover current payment schemes through new financing terms or conditions.
  
  
  

What You'll Need:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in Collections, Consumer Risk, or related areas (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Credit Bureau and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
• Understanding of the bidding process to review market conditions and opportunities in expenses.
• Ability to develop special analyses as needed to review opportunities or gaps identified.
• Responsible for Business Plan, Operating Reviews, capacity planning, and delinquency evaluation.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical skills to understand productivity, efficiency, and delinquency indicators.
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
• Expertise in monitoring and controlling processes and procedures.
