Job description

Overview:

The UI5/FIORI with ABAP position is crucial to our organization as it plays an integral role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces and applications that enhance user experience for SAP systems. This position is key in ensuring seamless integration of SAP applications with a focus on UI/UX design and ABAP programming, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of our SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop SAP UI5/FIORI applications and ABAP programs based on business requirements
Customize and enhance standard FIORI apps utilizing SAP WebIDE and Eclipse IDE
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to create and implement innovative solutions for SAP systems
Ensure the integration of UI5/FIORI apps with SAP modules, such as SD, MM, and FI
Optimize and maintain existing UI5/FIORI and ABAP applications for improved performance
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for UI5/FIORI and ABAP-related issues
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and development standards
Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and system testing
Keep abreast of SAP UI technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the user experience
Document technical specifications and user guides for developed applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of UI5/FIORI and ABAP projects
Contribute to the continuous improvement of UI/UX design and development processes
Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams as required
Assist in evaluating new technologies and tools related to UI5/FIORI and ABAP development
Support in the preparation and execution of data migration and system integration activities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in developing UI5/FIORI apps and customizing standard FIORI apps
Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools
Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration with UI5/FIORI apps
Experience in SAP UI/UX design principles and best practices
Ability to work with OData and JSON models for UI5/FIORI application development
Knowledge of SAP WebIDE, Eclipse IDE, and SAPUI5 libraries
Proven experience in full stack development with a focus on frontend technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
Good understanding of SAP system architecture and development methodologies
Experience with SAP HANA and SAP Fiori Elements is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Relevant SAP certifications would be an advantage
Experience in SAP system integration and interfacing with external systems
