Requirements

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer with a strong focus on integrations to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems that integrate with various third-party services and APIs, all built on top of a tech stack that includes React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and Azure. You will work closely with our front-end team to deliver seamless, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs to support integration with third-party platforms, leveraging our stack based on React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and Azure.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define integration requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize and improve the performance of existing back-end systems to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to integrations and back-end systems.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in back-end development and integration, particularly within the JavaScript and Azure ecosystems.

Required Skills & Experience:

3-4 years of hands-on experience in back-end development, with a focus on integrations.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, and other relevant Azure services.
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of security best practices and data protection regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a startup environment.
Familiarity with financial technologies (Fintech) or SaaS products.
Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (e.g., Azure Service Bus).
