Hydraulics Engineer

Hydraulics BIM (Building Information Modeling) manager acts as collaborator between the client’s team, design team, contractor team and supply chain. As a BIM Manager, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualizations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for the drafting and coordination of hydraulic systems across a range of challenging projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet project requirements and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to deliver coordinated systems designs. This is a contract role and is remote.

Requirements

• Must have Australian/New Zealand related experience.
  
• Fluent English speaker.
  
• Comfortable with being responsible for reviewing drafting teams work and providing draftees with guidance
  
• Comfortable with engineering designs in accordance with AS3500 standards.
  
• Comfortable with communicating with clients
  
• Proficient in English verbal and written, able to write emails, specifications and reports.
  
• Excellent understanding of Stormwater, Sewer and Water system designs for low and high rise buildings
  
• Revit and AutoCAD experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate
  
• Experience with the design and documentation of hydraulic plumbing systems.
  
• Expert knowledge of BIM technology, software, and workflows
