Role: Quickbooks Certified Accountant (Client Onboarding Specialist)


Overview:

We are hiring for our client who is a cloud-based software solution providing asset management, operations

management, investor management, data analytics, and automation, in real-time dashboards, for companies that own, manage, and lease commercial real estate. The client's product integrates with QuickBooks. The client is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA. The position is remote.

The Role:

  • Assist with the onboarding activities of the customers, including data entry of legal documents such as leases and loans, meetings on Zoom with the team and customers, and other software-related tasks as needed
  • Assist with customer service questions
  • Assist with writing Knowledge Base articles when questions repeatedly come up

Must Haves:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong technical experience - able to troubleshoot technology issues by themselves
  • Patience for digging through complex, messy records from our customers
  • Ability to drive projects to completion
  • Attention to detail – both with data and processes
  • Ability to communicate well with customers and internally (written and verbally) on progress and questions
  • Ability to identify process improvements
  • Team player – works closely with other team members to achieve common goals
  • Strong follow-through skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to work effectively remotely

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Experience in the real estate industry – owning or managing real estate, banking, realtor/broker
  • Accounting degree
  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification
  • Experience with Zoom, Slack, Google Suite, Smartsheet, HubSpot

Requirements

  • Access to a space that is conducive to customer meetings - meaning a clean, professional background without others in the vicinity
  • Must maintain a consistent remote work location, ensuring stable work hours and avoiding frequent changes in time zones
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Computer equipment to perform work
  • Located in Latin America
