Under specific direction, implements specialized recruiting knowledge and skills to initiate a high volume of outbound calls to experienced financial advisors with the goal of creating interest in exploring an affiliation with Raymond James. Comfort with setting meetings and ability to collaborate with both the Sr. Outbound AdvisorChoice Consultant and AdvisorChoice Consulting management team. Establish and maintain advisor relationships that lead to interest in connecting with their Sr. AdvisorChoice Consultant. Act in a professional sales and marketing capacity to build relationships and meet firm, team, and individual goals.
The opportunity is eligible for commission, in addition to the annual base salary.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Initiate a high volume of outbound cold calls to advisors.
Source experienced financial advisors and/or financial institutions interested in affiliating with Raymond James to meet specific recruiting goals.
Make referrals based on the consultant’s analysis through a best fit business model profiling process including next step exploration.
Set meetings for Sr ACC partners.
Makes outbound calls to schedule, confirm and or follow-up after meetings have occurred.
Cultivate relationships with all recruiting partners.
Assist in the development of business development strategies.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of
Concepts, practices and procedures of business development in a financial services environment.
Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
Principles of finance and securities industry operations.
Financial markets and products.
Skill in
Making a high volume of outbound cold calls and turning them into recruiting opportunities.
Sourcing and developing sales prospects using a proprietary CRM.
Cultivating business development strategies.
Maintaining relationships with recruiting partners.
Effective questioning and listening techniques.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
Ability to
Familiarity with and ability to partner with other areas of the firm to accomplish objectives.
Research, interpret, analyze and apply information about prospects.
Organize, prioritize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Education/Previous Experience
Associates Degree with a minimum of three (3) years business development or sales experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
OR ~
An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
