As Sales Consultant, you will actively expand the business while providing support to existing business within our focused market. Responsibility
Responsible for increasing the number of genetic test samples sent to Myriad in their territory.
Should spend 85% of their time calling on physician offices and 15% of their time working with established cancer genetics programs.
Implement all sales strategies.
Sell all products on all calls Target 60 physicians within a 2-week routing cycle.
Implement all marketing strategies.
Implement new product marketing when applicable.
Identify and implement an action plan to drive growth in territory.
Focus majority of intervention dollars towards action plan docs.
Must meet expense budget.
Must meet administrative requirements.
Able to work independently with strong work ethic.
Must demonstrate a high level of product knowledge.
Must be willing to drive to appointments throughout territory.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years as a Senior Sales Executive and dependent on performance as a specialist.
BS degree and 2 years of medical sales experience, or a MS degree in a Genetics related field.
Strong work ethic.
Computer proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Must be able to travel daily throughout territory.
Must be intelligent, articulate & creative.
Sales experience in hospitals, Women’s Health, nursing or clinical background.
Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements – sedentary to light work or exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions. OSHA category III – normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and as part of the employment, will not be called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
