A new role has come up with an international construction/engineering
company. Our client is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will
contribute to a range of exciting projects related to stormwater and drainage,
flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. The
successful candidate will be involved in investigations, planning, designing,
tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring. Key
responsibilities include cost planning, quantity take-off, preparation of bills
of quantities, estimating, tender and contract document production, report
writing, and managing post-contract administration. The role also involves
close collaboration with engineers to solve design problems, conducting field
inspections, and liaising with teams working remotely to ensure project
success.
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the
following criteria:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of comprehensive
experience in quantity surveying, strong communication skills, and the ability
to build lasting client relationships. You should have a degree in QS and have MRICS
certification. This role requires adherence to safe work practices and company
