Job description

We are seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer with hands-on experience in real-world applications to join Viso. At Viso, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge computer vision systems for real-world applications. Join us in pushing the boundaries of Computer Vision technology and making a meaningful impact.

This is a remote position that requires permission to work in the UK.


What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop cutting-edge computer vision capabilities for our platform
  • Train new algorithms to solve real-world problems
  • Fine-tune existing models to improve accuracy and performance for specific use cases
  • Improve existing algorithms to deploy them to low-resource environments
  • Evaluate and benchmark the performance of different computer vision frameworks
  • Test the latest hardware and push it to the limits
  • Accelerate customer opportunities by assisting in solution design and proof of concepts
 
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with computer vision including libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT and OpenVINO
  • Experienced in computer vision at the edge with real-time video streaming and image processing
  • Demonstrable experience in Python and C++ development for production applications
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Commercial experience with Linux, Docker, Redis, MQTT
  • Deep understanding of GPU architecture and CuDNN/CUDA programming
  • Excellent knowledge of deep learning neural networks including troubleshooting and debugging computer vision models to improve performance and accuracy
  • Extensive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems
  • High availability, self-starter mentality, willing to drive initiatives independently
  • Strong team player with efficient communication
