Under broad supervision, proficient in the design, development, integration, testing, and support of large/complex database systems necessary to support the information systems needs of the agency.
Complete Description:
The Governor's Office of Planning & Budget and Georgia Office of Health Strategy & Coordination (OHSC) require support from a consultant with expertise in the management and analysis of databases that collect health insurance claims information from all health care payers into a statewide information repository. OHSC seeks a consultant who will leverage available funding sources, incorporate best practices from previous APCD implementations, and provide a sustainable plan for ongoing operations.
Activities provided by the consultant include stakeholder engagement, identifying regulatory, legal, and legislative considerations and developing proposed solutions, defining ongoing program needs, developing a sustainability plan, developing and revising CMS Advanced Planning Documents, planning and leading APCD Advisory Committee meetings, management of program budget, and managing APCD implementation. The Product Manager will serve as OHSC's primary point of contact for the APCD.
The APCD includes two modules – Data Collection and Data Analytics. Onpoint Health Data was selected to provide the Data Collection module. This module is currently in use, with a limited scope of remaining effort. The Data Analytics module is also currently in use, with additional certification efforts remaining.
