The ATLASSIAN TOOL PRODUCT OWNER plays a crucial role in our organization, taking ownership of the product development lifecycle for the ATLASSIAN tool suite. This individual is responsible for driving the strategic direction, defining product features, and maximizing value delivery to our stakeholders and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize product features and improvements based on customer and stakeholder feedback, market trends, and business goals
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the product roadmap aligns with business objectives
Create user stories and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team
Champion the use of ATLASSIAN tools across the organization, driving adoption and best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve product functionality
Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product releases
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
Act as the subject matter expert for ATLASSIAN tools, providing guidance and support to end users
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on strategic and tactical considerations
Collaborate with the development team to define acceptance criteria and provide clarifications on requirements
Communicate product releases, updates, and changes to internal and external stakeholders
Participate in strategic planning and provide input on product vision and roadmap
Monitor product performance and KPIs, taking proactive measures to address any deviations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with expertise in ATLASSIAN tools
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria
Strategic thinking and ability to align product initiatives with business objectives
Experience with ATLASSIAN tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related products
Proven track record of driving product adoption and delivering value to end users
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed product decisions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively
Certification in Product Ownership or similar field is a plus
Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and leading cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on business priorities and constraints
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
Knowledge of software development processes and best practices
