Job Description

We are seeking a talented Safety Systems Engineer to join our team and work in the aerospace industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical safety projects on cutting edge engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety standards are met in the development and qualification of aerospace safety systems. 

Due to the nature of the defence industry will require successful applicant to be eligible for security clearance 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide certification evidence for safety.
  • Ensure compliance with Means of Compliance (MC/MOC 3) standards.
  • Utilize processes such as ARP4754, ARP4761, and AC 25.1309-1 for safety-specific tasks.
  • Perform System Safety Assessment (SSA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), and Fault Tree Analysis.

Qualifications
  • Strong background in systems engineering.
  • Proven experience in safety and certification within the aerospace sector.
  • Familiarity with safety processes including ARP4754, ARP4761, and AC 25.1309-1.
  • Proficiency in System Safety Assessment (SSA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • Onsite prescence required 1 day a week in Preston
